Work with Shawn one-on-one, allowing for a completely tailor-made learning experience, so that you can delve deeper into your bonsai practice. Sessions can be tailored to suit a particular scope of work, including seasonal maintenance, practical techniques, styling/design, or repotting. Our private lessons are best suited for individuals (this can include family members/partners) who want to receive hands-on guidance about your bonsai. We will first sit down and discuss the work that needs to be done within the time constraints of the private session, as well as plan out any other short-term and long-term work that will be required moving forward once that work has been undertaken. This is an ideal option for someone that wants to advance their skills and knowledge in a particular area of bonsai techniques or maintenance, by getting hands on with their own trees or utilizing the material available at Ukiyo.
