Seasonal Long-Term Study

Service Description

A one-on-one study option that allows for a more long-term approach to your bonsai education. Consisting of four sessions set over a 12-month period, focusing on the maintenance work required during Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. This scope of work will include species and timing specific topics such as pruning, repotting, styling and wiring, as well as more advanced techniques like defoliation, deadwood creation and carving, trunk and taper development + many more. This type of study allows for a certain work-flow and instructional consistency that can sometimes be hard to find with so much information available, removing any doubt about what needs to be done on your bonsai and when. Each session lasts 5 hours, with a lunch break included. This is best suited for someone that has a small collection of a variety of species at different stages of development, however, it can also be tailor-made to your particular needs and the bonsai you wish to work on.
